Trouvez un environnement confortable, avec un éclairage approprié, et un bruit limité (pas de climatisation ou de vent si possible).

=== Installez l'appareil photo ===
Utilisez un petit trépied (20.–) ou posez votre téléphone sur des objets afin que la caméra soit stable et à hauteur des yeux – pour paraître égal aux spectateurs. Un interviewer se placera aussi derrière la caméra. Si vous utilisez un téléphone, placez-le toujours à l'horizontale. Vérifiez que vous n'êtes ni surexposé ni dans l’ombre. La lumière est préférable derrière la caméra. Si vous êtes à l'aise, la caméra arrière du téléphone est de meilleure qualité.

=== Essayez d'enregistrer, vérifiez le résultat et ajustez ===
Vérifiez que votre visage fait environ 2/3 de la hauteur de l'écran, et qu'il n'est pas coupé (sauf cheveux abondants). Vos épaules devraient être partiellement visibles. A l’horizontal, vous pourriez être un peu décalé du centre de l'écran. Regarder derrière la caméra, sinon cela pourrait mettre les spectateurs mal à l'aise. Après avoir enregistré un test, vérifiez l'image et le son, ajustez, er relancez l'enregistrement.

=== Ayez du plaisir ===
Prenez quelques respirations profondes et soyez en confiance, comme lors d’une conversation informelle. Si vous avez besoin d'un mémo, écrivez juste quelques mots-clés et placez-les juste sous la caméra. Plus vous êtes authentique, plus les spectateurs s'identifieront. :-)

Find a comfortable environment, with appropriate lighting, and limited noise (no air conditioning or wind if possible).

=== Set up the camera ===
Use a small tripod (20.–) or put your phone on some stuff so that the camera is stable and at your eyes’ height – to look equal to the viewers. An interviewer will also stay behind the camera. If you use a phone, always turn it horizontally. Check that you are not overexposed to light, or in a shadow. A source of light may be better behind the camera. If you feel at ease, you may prefer the camera on the cover side of your phone, for higher quality recording.

=== Try recording, verify the outcome, and adjust ===
Check that your face is about 2/3 of the screen height, and is not cut (expect large hair). Your shoulders should be partly visible. Horizontally, you may prefer to appear slightly offset from the screen center. Look behind the camera, not into it as it may feel uncomfortable for the viewers. After recording a test, check the image and sound, adapt the setting if needed, and restart recording.

=== Enjoy ===
Take a few deep breaths and be trustful, as in an informal setting. If you do need a memo, try just to write a few keywords and put them just below the camera. The more authentic you are, the more watchers will be able to identify. :-)
