GHF Open Village 2022

The second edition of the Geneva Health Forum Open Village will take place from May 3 to 5 both on the CICG esplanade and online.

Purpose

Libre and open-source innovation empowers communities, increases trustworthiness, and cuts costs by up to 100 times.

Acknowledging health commons as the new standard of care, we

• federate communities that co-create freely reproducible health knowledge and technologies
• empower people through critical thinking and political action in order to identify and tackle socio-economic barriers to health
• enhance contributions to and governance of health commons by coordinating efforts and sharing critical successes and challenges

Activities

We will invite interested people to propose activities they would organize.

Conditions

All proposal should

• be carried by at least three individuals, including ideally a member of a health commons and someone direcly affected

• fit within an open collaboration, non-profit mindset
• align with the three objectives described above
• contribute throughout their course to a common pool of libre knowledge
