Context

The first edition of the Geneva Health Forum Open Village was initially planned during the Geneva Health Forum, from March 23 to 26 at CICG. Due to restrictions imposed by Swiss autorities, the GHF and consequently the Open Village finally took place online from November 16 to 18.

This event was co-organized by Fabio Balli, Mathilde Matringue, Clément le Couédic, and Emmanuel Kellner. Its buget of CHF 32'215.– was covered by a Genevan association, in-kind contributions from the Geneva Health Forum, Open Geneva and the Breathing Games Association.

Projects presented were Breathing Games, EchOpen, Aura, LogAir, E-nable, Open Humans, Open Source Imaging, Open Source Drug Discovery, and Fuga.

The activity was promoted by the Quebec Population Health Research Network and the Young European Biotech Network.
